Youth Red-Cross (Y.R.C.): The
Principal is to nominate a member of the
Teaching Staff to remain in charge of this
organization, who will promote and organize
the Red-Cross activities among the students
of the College. All bonafide and desirous
students can be the members of this
organization.
The Aims of Youth Red Cross:

Promotion of Health.

to the sick and suffering.

Promotion
of the spirit of national integration
and international friendliness.

Organize
Blood Donation Camps.

Social Services.
National
Service Scheme (N.S.S.):
Tulasi
Women’s College has two N.S.S. Units for
girls. They function under separate
Programme Officers.
Aims
: To promote
national consciousness and a sense of social
responsibility to inculcate discipline and
dignity of labour among students.
Project:
In order to
achieve the above aims the N.S.S. programme
will include the following projects.

Social
Service and Work Experience.

General
Education through Planning Forum &
Seminars.

Literacy
Drive and Social Service.

Campus
Work Project.
-
Rovers
Training, Red-Cross activities and
community living in campus.

Small
Savings Drive.
The
Units invite to enroll bonafide students of
this College interested in voluntary
services. The volunteers associated with the
N.S.S. Units will undertake projects
assigned to them during Sundays and Holidays
without disturbing their normal study. For
each student the Project Work has to occupy
120 hours in an academic year. Selected
volunteers will be deputed to attend State
Level Camps and also at the time of natural
calamities like drought, flood and cyclone.
The
motto of N.S.S. “Not me but you” is an
expression, which demands forgetting and
tense surrendering self and rendering
selfless services for others.
