Attendance The
name of every student is entered in the
register after admission for general
lectures and in the concerned
practical/tutorial registers. It is the
duty of the student to find out weather
her name has been entered in the concerned
registers, otherwise, she should meet the
prof. In charge of admission. The
Principal will not entertain any complaint
at a later stage if a student falls short
of the prescribed percentage of attendance
on the plea that her name has not been
entered in the appropriate registers in
time. Rules.

As
per Orissa Education code and Utkal
University statutes the name of the
student remaining absent for over
three days without leave of absence is
to be struck off college rolls and she
will not be readmitted except under
the rules of admission unless she
brings sufficient excuse in writing
signed or countersigned by her parents
or authorized guardians and may be
excused at the discretion of the
Principal.

In
each session students are required to
attend in each subject a minimum 75%
of lectures, practical and tutorials
calculated separately in order to be
eligible for promotion to the next
higher class or for being sent up for
the Council or University
examinations.

In
the case of illness supported by
Medical Certificate, the CHSE or
University considers application for
condensation of shortage of
attendance, only if the shortage is
15% or less.

The
Council/University may also grant
condonation to an extent of 5% in case
of those who represented the college
in Council or University competitions.

There
is no rule to help a student if her
percentage of attendance falls below
the irreducible minimum of 60% during
and academic session.

Percentage
of attendance of students will be
notified on College Notice Board from
time to time for information.

A
candidate failing at Council or
University examination may reappear at
the same examination without further
attendance of lectures.
